Job Interviews

I had two job interviews recently--one for an assistant in a doctor's office and another for a receptionist at my community college. I am hoping that one or possibly both of them will work out for me! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Also, I transferred over to the singles' ward now. I really like it there better. Can't wait to move out in December, though.

I applied for U of U in the spring and I can't wait. I am graduating in December. I hope that I will be ready to leave by then. I also got a job as a messenger volunteering at the nearby hospital. All is well now.

Tired of Fighting

I'm tired of arguing for something I don't believe in. I'm getting tired of the ignorance in the Church. I don't feel like defending it when I don't even agree with the members.

I haven't posted anything in awhile, but I now have an editor for my story. My friend Rachel is helping me write it and I'm grateful for her help. Things are going along now that I have rewritten the beginning to have some more action. While I was looking at literary agencies, though, I discovered that there are very few agencies that will be agents for science fiction stories. I hope that I get accepted when I have completed the story! That may take awhile, though.

Writer's Block

I am a bit stuck in my story now. I am supposed to come up with two action sequences that the bad guys win and right now I've got nothing. I had to watch The Chronicles of Riddick for ideas. I may need to watch more action movies to get out of this writer's block! Til next time.

My Story

So I decided to start writing a novel. So far Matt Hansen, Jackson Meeker, Kim Benne, Kevin Stauffer, and various members of my family are reading it. I have no set date for finishing it, but at 4 pages a day, I predict that it will take until Christmas. Contact me if you're interested in reading it! I have 130 pages single-spaced pages so far. Not much else to report. I posted it on fanfiction.net and fictionpress.com to find out what people think of it.
I saw the new Harry Potter movie. Best film yet!
